While Muslims around the world were celebrating or looking forward to celebrating Eid ul Fitr, a large part of the world remained embroiled in wars and human suffering. Muslims particularly remained under siege in many countries.

The hypocrisy and duplicity of the so-called developed world becomes utterly obvious in these situations. The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, turned into a huge celebration in the North America. Thousands traveled with families and millions of dollars spent on a useless activity while the rest of the world suffers. Is it an effort at diverting attention? Maybe.
